It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd Saudi International Pediatric Neurology conference scheduled to take place at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 1-3 November 2010. This conference follows the success of the 1st Saudi International Pediatric Neurology conference held in November 2008. During this meeting, important topics related to different aspects of Pediatric Neurology will be discussed including Childhood Epilepsy, Neuromuscular disorders, Neurometabolic disorders, Neurorehabilitation, Neurodevelopment in addition to many other related disorders. This 2nd Saudi International Pediatric Neurology Conference will convene many international and national faculties with recognized expertise in a wide array of disciplines within the field Child Neurology. The programme is designed for Pediatric Neurologists, trainees, nurses, speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, and other allied health care professionals within the field of Child Neurology and Neurosciences. It gives us great pleasure to announce “Poster Presentation Session” Calling for abstracts for poster presentations just started, dead line for submission is 1st October 2010, do not miss it, it is free!

1. Poster Dimensions :

I- One vertical poster display board is provided for each presenter.

II- Each unframed board measures approximately 900 mm X 1800.

III- NOTE: boards may be 2.5 cm (one inch or 25 mm) smaller in either direction.

IV- You can make your poster smaller, but it must fit inside the poster board.

V- Display boards are double-sided and will be shared by two presenters, one on each side due to space constraints, no table or electrical outlets can be provided for poster presentations.

2. In order to achieve the best exchange of ideas and information, authors are asked to be present at their posters when the viewing sessions are unopposed by platform sessions.

3. Poster Removal: It is essential that presenters clear their poster board promptly and within the schedule.

4. Materials left on a poster board after the removal deadline will be discarded.

5. You must bring your own materials for attaching illustrations to the boards.

6. Additional items, such as electrical power and audiovisual equipment, will not be provided.

7. As a courtesy to other presenters, do not move or remove poster numbers or change the order of the assigned poster boards.

8. SIPNC is not responsible for materials left behind, lost, stolen or damaged.

Welcome to KFMC:

"KFMC incorporates, in addition to its recently established “Faculty of Medicine”, a 459 bed Main Hospital, a 246 bed Children's Hospital, a 159 bed Rehabilitation, and a 236 bed Maternity Hospital. KFMC also has a Cardiac Center, an Oncology Center as well as the Neurosciences Center."

The Neurosciences Center has a 110 bed capacity which has a 12 bed Neuro ICU, a 7 bed intermediate care Spine Unit, a 6 bed Stroke Unit and a 16 bed EMU. The Neuroscience Center at K.F.M.C. has departments namely the Department of Neurosurgery (adult and pediatric), Department of Spinal Surgery, Department of Pediatric Neurology, Department of Neurology, Department of Psychiatry and Department of Psychology.
